ASHRAE TaskForce for Building Decarbonization (TFBD) and ASHRAE Hellenic Chapter, co-organise the “International Conference BUILDING DECARBONIZATION 2022” on October 5-7, 2022, in Athens, Hellas.
ASHRAE formed a task force to address climate change through responsible decarbonization strategies for the built environment. The Task Force develops technical resources and provides leadership and guidance in mitigating the negative carbon impact of buildings on the environment and the inhabitants of our planet.
Founded in 1894, ASHRAE is a global professional society committed to serve humanity by advancing the arts and sciences of heating ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and their allied fields. As an industry leader in research, standards writing, publishing, certification and continuing education, ASHRAE and its members are dedicated to promoting a healthy and sustainable built environment for all.
ASHRAE Hellenic Chapter was chartered in 1999 by the Board of Directors of ASHRAE during the Annual Conference in Seattle, U.S.A. In March 2003 the Hellenic Chapter was founded as a non-profit organization, based in Athens. It organises several international conferences every year along with technical seminars, webinars, training courses, examinations for ASHRAE certifications and much more.
